Job summary

Trinity Services Group Inc. is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and the kitchen team inside a correctional facility. You will prepare and serve foods according to menus, train staff, and ensure safety and compliance with food handling regulations.

The role requires 25–28 hours weekly, 4 days from 11am to 6pm, with some weekends and holidays. On-site work, DailyPay option, and an Employee Assistance Program are included to support you.

• Preferred prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

About This Position

Must be available to work some weekends and holidays

25- 28 hours weekly

4 scheduled days weekly 11am to 6pm

The Food Service Supervisor oversees inmate labor and team members assisting with the food service operation in a correctional facility. You will also prepare and serve a variety of food items following assigned work instructions and menus and use a variety of food preparation utensils and machines in preparing food.

You will report to a Food Service Director. You will work onsite inside of a jail/correctional facility.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts in the kitchen.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes. Use proper utensils to serve menued portions to meet clients' nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for other employees/inmates.
• Physical demands include items such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need
