Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Food Service Worker.
In this role, the successful candidate ensures that patients receive appropriate nourishments, trays and food selections under the direction of the Supervisor of Patient Services.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to speak, read and write English. Must be able to understand and carry out simple oral and written instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. A.A. degree in Nutrition or related major. Minimum six months on a tray assembly line or related experience preferred.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $23.16 - $25.20 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
