Job Description

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation; maintain cash receipts and meal records. Assist manager in completing daily reports. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu
• Prepare daily transaction reports
• Understand meal components and ensure proper storage
• Serve food according to schedules and policies
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, including knives
• Timely preparation of various food items and beverages
• Add garnishments for presentation and customer satisfaction
• Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and equipment
• Follow food safety regulations for sanitation and storage
• Adhere to uniform policy
• Coordinate with the manager to understand daily menu
• Supervise food temperature requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing
• Maintain a neat and sanitary kitchen environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including other kitchen areas
• This role may involve physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing; uniforms and PPE may be required.
