Job summary

YKHC is seeking a Food Service Aide to perform routine duties related to the preparation, serving and delivery of meals to patients in Bethel. The role supports clinical teams by ensuring timely, accurate meal service in a hospital setting.

Completion of 6th grade required; on-the-job training available. Basic kitchen equipment and sanitation practices will be taught. Generous PTO, holidays, and comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

Position Summary

Performs a variety of routine duties related to the preparation, serving and delivery of food to patients.

Position Qualifications

Completion of 6th grade Previous experience in foodservice desirable but will do on-the-job training. Basic kitchen utensils, small kitchen appliances, dishmachine, food carts Completion of Work Ethics Course through the Alaska Job Center (call 907-543-2210 for more information).
