Job Description

As a Food Service Worker, you’ll assist with food prep, portioning meals, and serving our customers. With guidance from your manager, you’ll learn on the job and make great connections with the people we serve. We’re looking for team players who are organized, focused, accountable, and bring a positive attitude every day.

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead all aspects of and assist in food preparation and product dating.
2. Set up and break down stations as designated by the manager.
3. Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
4. Ensure accurate portions are used when preparing and serving.
5. Maintain daily temperature logs.
6. Sample all food items prior to serving.
7. Report any food quality issues to management.
8. Complete opening and closing checklists.
9. Greet customers and handle feedback positively.
10. Maintain cleanliness of work stations, including floors, equipment, and walls.
11. Ensure all utensils and work areas are sanitized.
12. Dispose of waste properly from the service line.
13. Transport supplies and equipment as needed.
14. Report safety hazards immediately.
15. Cross-train in various areas as needed.
16. Work in concessions, catering, or special events as required.
17. Perform additional tasks as assigned by your manager.
18. Lead and advise team members for efficient service, seeking support when necessary.

• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Food Service experience preferred
• Physical ability to lift and transport hot food items frequently
• Comfortable working around heat, steam, noise, chemicals, and other hazards in a kitchen environment

This role may require physical activity such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
