Job Description

As a Food Service Worker, you'll assist with food prep, portioning meals, and serving our customers. Under the guidance of your manager, you'll learn on the job and build connections with those we serve. We seek team players who are organized, focused, accountable, and maintain a positive attitude daily.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of food preparation and assist in preparing food items for the day.
• Set up and break down stations as designated by the manager.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and instructions.
• Ensure accurate portions when preparing and serving food.
• Maintain daily temperature logs and take samples of all food items prior to serving.
• Alert management about any food quality issues and handle customer complaints positively.
• Complete opening and closing checklists, maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Assist with safety observations, report hazards, and cross-train in different areas as needed.
• Support concessions, catering, and special events as required.
• Perform tasks assigned by your manager, including leading line operations and supporting sanitation efforts.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
• Ability to work well in a team
• Serve Safe Certification
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Food Service experience preferred
• Physical ability to lift, transport hot food, and work in a kitchen environment with heat, steam, noise, and chemicals

Additional Information

This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing and walking. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
