About This Position

The Food Service Worker position will be at our summer camp located in Effingham, NH. This camp serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, seven days per week. Housing is not provided. The Food Service Worker performs a variety of responsibilities including serving food and assisting in food preparation according to recipe standards. This role involves engaging with camp staff and campers with excellent customer service, embodying the Genuine way. There are opportunities to learn culinary skills to advance your career.

  • Ensure all food served meets Genuine Foods' quality standards and food safety regulations.
  • Serve food to students and staff with a positive, upbeat attitude.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure timely preparation and service of food.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all areas.
  • Stock and organize kitchen and serving areas for efficient service.
  • Report any issues promptly to the Site Lead or Manager on duty.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
  • Must be flexible and team-oriented.
  • Previous experience in food service or customer service in a high-volume environment.
  • Willingness to learn USDA National School Lunch Program compliance requirements.
