Job summary

Genuine Foods is seeking a Food Service Worker to serve meals in K-12 schools, upholding quality, safety, and timely service for students and staff, while supporting a welcoming learning environment.

You will collaborate with a friendly team, follow USDA National School Lunch Program guidelines, keep kitchen and serving areas clean, assist with food prep as needed, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible & team-oriented.
• Previous food or customer service experience/training in a mid-high volume food service facility or restaurant.
• Willingness to learn the USDA National School Lunch Program requirements.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic; reliable and punctual.
• Able to climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all served food meets Genuine Foods quality and safety standards.

ABOUT THIS POSITIONThe Food Service Worker position will be at an elementary, middle, or high school site. The Food Service Worker performs a variety of job responsibilities including serving food and helping finish preparing food in accordance with recipe standards and the USDA National School Lunch compliance. This position will engage with students, teachers, and parents with superior customer service, embodying the Genuine way.
