Chartwells K12 in Avon, MS is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Food Service Worker positions. You will prepare, present and serve food, and assist with prep in a school dining environment.

No prior food service experience is required, but preferred. Competitive pay at $12.50 per hour with online applications accepted only. Training provided, with flexible schedules and local opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Washes, peels, cuts and seeds fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Lifts and carries pans, kettles and trays while adhering to safety standards.
• Stores food following wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
• Keeps work areas and equipment clean.
• Distributes supplies and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure proper portions and temperatures.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Addresses customer concerns and relays information to supervision.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation, safety, inventory and cash procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
