Job summary

About the Job

The Promotional Priority Period for current Teamster applicants: 2/5/2026 - 2/12/2026.

Responsibilities include assembling products for service, operating kitchen equipment such as induction burners, Turbo Chef type ovens, grills, fryers, mixers and other manual utensils, and completing food production records. Additional tasks: serve food and maintain beverage stations, prep fresh fruits and vegetables, assist cooks and senior food service workers, plate and assemble products, prepare simple recipes, participate in menu presentation and food quality assessment, aid in training & assigning tasks to student employees, put away supplies, and perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning. The role also involves providing excellent customer service in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

Simple recipes typically involve assembly of measured, portioned, processed ingredients, for example, assembling a hamburger, sandwich, pizza or taco. Heat application includes grilling a hamburger, scrambling eggs on a grill, or exhibition cooking. Variations may involve adding butter, pepperoni or substituting ingredients.

Summary: This position is responsible for general food production and dispensing service following appropriate food safety and sanitation standards.
