Job Description

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and help complete daily reports. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Verify transactions and prepare daily reports.
• Ensure proper storage of food in sanitary conditions.
• Serve food according to schedules and policies.
• Care for kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Prepare a variety of food items, beverages, and garnishments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
• Follow food safety regulations and uniform policies.
• Coordinate with the manager to understand daily menus.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Perform duties including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing.
• Manage garbage and sanitation in the kitchen.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting in other kitchen areas.
• This role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
