JJYS Food Service Worker II - Full-Time
Do you love to cook? Do you enjoy feeling a sense of accomplishment in the kitchen? If so, come join our team!
You will prepare meals for youth, clients, and staff. A Food Handler's permit is required, or you can obtain one while working for the State.
Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Cooks, bakes, or serves regular and/or special meals to clients and/or staff.
  2. Ensures that food is maintained at appropriate temperatures.
  3. Prepares salads and garnishes, and assists in basic food preparation or ordering.
  4. Distributes food using proper food handling and sanitation techniques.
  5. Practices food safety and public health protection.
  6. Maintains inventory and tracks receipts.
  7. Cleans, sterilizes, and disinfects areas and equipment using appropriate cleaning agents and tools.
The Ideal Candidate

A motivated individual who enjoys cooking, following recipes, and providing nutritious food to our youth.

Minimum Preference Requirements

Preference may be given to candidates who are 19 years of age or older.
