Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure timely, safe food service to customers, including plating, serving foods, and stocking.
2. Wash dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and rack dishes.
3. Clean and sanitize equipment and facilities.
4. Maintain the physical area efficiently, including cleaning and sanitation of all areas.
5. Maintain, clean, and stock all food service areas.
6. Know the menu, service standards, and procedures of their area.
7. Interact effectively with internal and external customers, aiming to meet and exceed expectations.
8. Adhere to NMHS’ Mission, Vision, and Values, and serve as a role model for staff.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist in effective communication within the department.
• Help manage the budget by using food and supplies wisely.
• Follow proper food safety procedures and document monitors.
• Participate in HACCP program and maintain departmental documents.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective oral communication skills.
• Ability to follow oral instructions.
• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write English is desirable.
