Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker I at Heritage House in Troy, NY. Responsibilities
  1. Assist in cleaning and sanitation of the food service area, including dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and setting/clearing tables.
  2. Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, food temperature, and presentation standards.
  3. Follow HACCP guidelines for proper food handling and production.
  4. Store foods properly, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
  5. Work effectively with team members and maintain good relationships with staff and residents.
  6. Maintain a safe and clean work environment following all procedures.
  7. Adhere to the organization's code of conduct.
Minimum Requirements
  1. Previous food service and customer service experience preferred.
  2. Working papers required if under 18.
  3. Ability to follow instructions and read/write English at a 6th-grade level.
