Daily Pay Available!

• Hours: 8-hour shift between 6:00 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. with weekend requirement

Overview

Opened in 2007, Progress West Hospital is BJC HealthCare’s newest hospital in St. Charles County, featuring modern private rooms. It offers 24-hour emergency services and has partnered with St. Louis Children’s Hospital to provide pediatric emergency care.

Progress West Hospital also provides surgical services, endoscopy, a cardiac catheterization lab, medical/surgical inpatient services, diagnostic imaging, lab services, and the Advanced Wound Center, a specialty wound treatment facility. It recently expanded its Childbirth Center to include enhanced services for at-risk mothers and babies, with a newborn ICU caring for babies as early as 32 weeks gestation.

The hospital is a Certified Level II Stroke Center. The medical office building houses primary care, cardiology, obstetrics, pediatrics, and orthopedics offices.

Role Purpose

Responsible for performing various food service functions such as setting up service areas, food portioning, serving, sanitation, operating cash registers, assembling patient trays, and assisting with customer requests. Food preparation may also be performed at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional and friendly customer service, following food safety and portion guidelines.
• Assembles meals according to the menu, diet order, and protocol.
• Prepares work area with supplies before, during, and after shifts.
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and utensils.
• Uses equipment and materials safely and properly.
