Job Description Overview

The Food Service Worker position is located at a higher education setting. The food server performs various responsibilities including preparing and serving food according to the daily menu and recipe standards, and engaging students, teachers, and parents in Genuine Foods’ mission. Essential Responsibilities
  • Prepare menu items following recipes.
  • Prepare raw ingredients for cooking.
  • Follow the guidance of the Culinary Lead.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team.
  • Cook and assemble menu items as specified.
  • Organize and stock the kitchen area.
  • Clean and maintain utensils and cooking equipment.
  • Interact with students and teachers to provide excellent service.
  • Maintain cleanliness of service areas.
  • Perform any other duties assigned.
  • Report workplace issues to the Culinary Lead.
