**Job Description**

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food and meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and help complete daily reports. The role requires maintaining high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

**Job Responsibilities**

  1. Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
  2. Verify transactions and prepare daily reports.
  3. Understand meal components and inclusiveness.
  4. Ensure food storage is accurate and sanitary.
  5. Serve food according to schedules and policies.
  6. Use and care for kitchen equipment, especially knives.
  7. Prepare a variety of food items and beverages in a timely manner.
  8. Add garnishments for customer satisfaction and visual appeal.
  9. Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and cooking and serving equipment.
  10. Follow food safety regulations for sanitation, handling, and storage.
  11. Adhere to the uniform policy.
  12. Coordinate with the manager daily to understand and prepare the menu.
  13. Supervise food temperature requirements.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work and storage area.
  15. Sanitize counters, steam tables, and other equipment.
  16. Follow procedures for cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing.
  17. Keep garbage and kitchen floor areas neat and sanitary.
  18. Perform additional duties as assigned, including other kitchen areas.
  19. Be aware of physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. Use of PPE and uniforms may be required.
