Job Description

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation; maintain cash receipts and meal records. Assist manager in completing daily reports. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

Long Description

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $19.00 to $20.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare daily transaction reports.
• Understand meal components.
• Store food accurately and hygienically.
• Serve food according to schedules and policies.
• Care for kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Timely preparation of various food items and beverages.
• Add garnishments to enhance presentation and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen equipment.
• Follow food safety regulations for sanitation and storage.
• Adhere to uniform policies.
• Coordinate daily menu preparation with the manager.
• Supervise food temperature requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work and storage areas.
• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing.
• Manage garbage and kitchen floor sanitation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including other kitchen areas.
• This role may involve physical activity such as lifting, bending, and extended standing, and require uniforms and PPE.
