Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Food Services Worker in Winfield, IL to support hospital dining operations. This full-time role requires a rotating schedule with 7:30AM-4PM and 3PM-11:30PM shifts, including every other weekend, and involves preparing cold items, taking room service orders, tray assembly, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

The position also includes data entry in Excel, basic cash handling, and keeping a clean, organized kitchen area while adhering to department

• Basic cash handling.
• Maintains a safe, clean, neat and orderly cooking area.
• Ensures all department policies and programs are adhered to.
• Ensure satisfaction in quality and service using problem resolution skills as necessary.
• Completes daily position checklists, cleaning duties and all required documentation.
• Completes all mandatory in-service trainings and meets employee health requirements.

• Cleans dish machine at end of shift.
• Cleans and sanitizers work area.
• Cleans and sanitizes food service carts.
