Position Details

• Location: Walter Reuther - 30901 Palmer Avenue, Westland, MI 48186
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time; days may vary. Shifts include 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm and 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm. More details provided upon interview.
• Requirements: Prior hospital tray line and salad/sandwich prep experience preferred.
• Pay Range: $14.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays to and from work stations, ensuring safety standards.
• Stores food properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distributes supplies and utensils.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
• Serves customers courteously and efficiently.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisors.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory, and safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
