Job Title: Food Service Worker

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Food Service Worker positions at System Logistics, 115 Vista Boulevard, Arden, NC 28704. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and 9:30 am to 2:00 pm. Additional details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Prior food handling experience is preferred but not required.

Pay Range: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour. Internal Employee Referral Bonus available.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
2. Weighs and measures ingredients.
3. Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards.
4. Stores food properly, following safety, wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
5. Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
6. Distributes supplies, utensils, and equipment.
7. Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and proper portioning.
8. Serves customers in a friendly and efficient manner, following steps of service.
9. Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to supervisors.
10. Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
11. Follows sanitation and safety requirements.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
