Job summary

Compass Group, the employer behind Chartwells K-12, is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Food Service Worker positions in Fallon, Nevada. Location: Churchill County School District.

You will perform prep, serve meals, follow safety and sanitation standards, and maintain portion control. The role offers daytime schedules with pay ranging from $13.00 to $15.00 per hour, with training available.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience is preferred.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time positions; Monday through Friday, hours may vary. More details during interview.
• Pay Range: $13.00 to $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prep work: washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles and trays to and from workstations while following safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas with proper wrapping, dating and rotation.
• Clean work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards for quality and proper serving temperatures.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner and relay concerns to supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with service standards, inventory and cash control procedures.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.

• Utilize approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to the supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Adhere to all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
