Job summary

Unidine is hiring for a FOOD SERVICE WORKER role at Barnes Jewish Extended Care in Saint Louis, Missouri. This position supports daily food service, from prep to serving, in a busy healthcare setting and offers opportunities to learn and grow with training provided.

Available as full-time or part-time with shifts around 11:30 am to 8:00 pm, the role requires no prior experience and emphasizes teamwork, safety, and customer service.

Qualifications

• No experience required. Willing to train.
• Schedule includes full-time and part-time roles with shifts around 11:30 am to 8:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Location: Barnes Jewish Extended Care - 401 Corporate Drive, Saint Louis, MO 63105.
• Schedule: Full time and part time schedules. 11:30 am - 8:00 pm, days may vary. Further details upon interview.
• Requirement: No experience necessary. Willing to train!
• Pay Range: $16.00per hour to$17.00per hour
