Job summary

Unidine is hiring for a part-time Food Service Worker in Saint Louis, MO. Shifts run 6:00 am–2:30 pm or 2:30 pm–8:00 pm; days may vary. No experience is required and training will be provided. The role involves food prep, service, and ensuring safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.

• Stores food with proper wrapping, dating and rotation for safety.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils to maintain hygiene.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner and handles inquiries.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.

• Location: Bethesda Southgate - 5943 Telegraph Road, Saint Louis, MO 63129.
• Schedule: Part time schedule. 6:00 am - 2:30 pm and 2:30 pm - 8:00 pm, days may vary. Further details upon interview.
• Requirement: No experience necessary. Willing to train!

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
