Location: Merck Rahway - 126 Lincoln Avenue, Union, NJ 07083. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
2. Weigh and measure ingredients.
3. Carry pans, kettles, and trays safely.
4. Store food properly, following safety procedures.
5. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
6. Distribute supplies and utensils.
7. Follow recipes and standards to ensure quality and safety.
8. Serve customers courteously and efficiently.
9. Resolve customer concerns and report to supervisor.
10. Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and company standards.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
