Job summary

Flik Independent School Dining is hiring for a full-time Food Service Worker at The Leffell Upper School in Hartsdale, NY. The role involves preparing, presenting and serving meals, while adhering to safety standards and portion control. The position requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs, with training provided.

Free meals and uniforms are offered, plus an internal referral bonus. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–4:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Washes, peels, cuts and seeds fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.

• We are hiring immediately for a full time FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.


• Location: The Leffell Upper School - 555 West Hartsdale Avenue, Hartsdale, NY 10530. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary
