Job Details

• We are hiring immediately for a full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.
• Location: Pratt Engineering - 400 Main Street, East Hartford, CT 06108. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior deli associate experience preferred. Must be able to use the slicer and prep station independently.
• Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available
• Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
2. Weigh and measure ingredients.
3. Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards.
4. Store food in designated areas following proper wrapping, dating, and safety procedures.
5. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
6. Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
7. Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and proper portioning.
8. Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
9. Resolve customer concerns and communicate relevant information to supervisor.
10. Ensure compliance with service standards, inventory, and safety regulations.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
