Job summary

Eurest is hiring a full-time Food Service Worker at NBC Tower, Chicago, IL. This role involves food prep, cooking, and serving, with a focus on quality and customer service.

Location is NBC Tower in Chicago. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–3:00 pm. Perks include weekend off and growth opportunities within Eurest.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Washes, peels, cuts, and seeds fruits/vegetables.
• Weighs and measures ingredients.
• Carries pans and trays safely between stations.
• Stores food with proper dating and rotation.
• Cleans work areas and equipment.
• Distributes supplies and utensils.
• Ensures proper food temperatures and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns with supervisor guidance.
• Adheres to sanitation and safety standards.

We are hiring immediately for full time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.

Location: NBC Tower - 455 North Cityfront Plaza Drive, Chicago, IL 60611 Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Customer service, working with a POS, food prep, and hot food cooking required.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
