Job Overview

We are hiring immediately for a full time FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.

• Location: Millipore Sigma – 400 Summit Drive, Burlington, MA 01803
• Schedule: Full time, Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm
• Requirement: Prior culinary experience and knife skills required
• Pay Range: $19.00–$22.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients
• Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards
• Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures
• Clean work areas, equipment and utensils
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment
• Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor
• Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures
• Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
