Job summary

Eurest USA in Cambridge, MA is seeking a food service worker to prepare, present and serve food as needed.

You will perform prep work, wash and cut produce, weigh ingredients, and assist with serving customers in a friendly, efficient manner.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (7:00 am–3:30 pm) with paid holidays, PTO and health benefits.

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays to from stations following safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas with proper wrapping, dating and rotation.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards for quality and portions.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory and cash control.
• Maintains sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay and Working Conditions

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour to $23.00 per hour

Contract Type: Full time

Location: Astra Zeneca - 290 Binney Street, Cambridge, MA 02142

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
