Job summary

HRI Hospital in Brookline, MA is seeking a Full Time Food Service Worker to assist with food preparation, serving, and other related tasks.

You will join a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality meals to patients, staff, and visitors, keep the kitchen clean, monitor equipment temperatures, and handle supplies safely.

A High School diploma or GED is required; ServSafe certification is preferred. This role offers opportunities for growth within a large health system near Boston.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; relevant experience considered in lieu of diploma.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment usage and sanitation procedures.
  • ServSafe Certification preferred.
  • Serving experience in full-service establishments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately prepares, serves, and delivers a product of high quality to patients, employees, and guests.
  • Performs proper use and storage of equipment and maintain a clean environment, including utensils, floors, equipment, etc.
  • Monitors all kitchen equipment and appliances for malfunctions and proper temperatures.
  • Receives, inspects, and properly stores all supplies entering Food Service Department.
  • Completes all requested forms pertaining to the Food Service area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.

HRI Hospital is seeking a Full Time Food Service Worker to assist with food preparation, serving, and other related tasks.

HRI Hospital is 66-bed psychiatric facility with adult inpatient services and several partial hospitalization programs.
