FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL AND PART TIME)

We are hiring immediately for full and part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions at Rowan University, located at 201 Mullica Hill Rd, Glassboro, NJ 08028. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Primarily evening and weekend shifts, typically Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday.

Requirements: ServSafe certification, ability to follow recipes accurately, and excellent customer service skills.

Pay Rate: $17.25 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure ingredients.
• Transport food to and from work stations following safety standards.
• Store food properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies and utensils.
• Follow recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
• Serve customers courteously and efficiently.
• Resolve customer concerns and communicate with supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and inventory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
