Sodexo at Mesa Community College is looking for a Food Service Worker – Float. You’ll support food preparation and service across stations, keep areas clean, and deliver friendly customer service to students and staff.

This full-time role features varied shifts, including some weekends/holidays, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for training and advancement.

No prior experience required; we value reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude.

Location: MESA COMMUNITY COLLEGE - 37812005

Workdays/shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours, and some weekends/holidays. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $15.00 - $15.00

What You’ll Do:

As a Food Service Worker – Float at Sodexo, you are a pair of helping hands and a good mood motivator. In this role, you will prepare and serve a variety of vibrant menusand ensure all working areas are kept clean and tidy. Your welcoming customer service puts a smile on people's faces and makes an impact in their everyday lives.

Responsibilities include:

• May work anywhere on property where food is prepared or served. Assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steamtables.


• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils and provide general stocking duties in service area.


• Clean and sanitize equipment and work stations


• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity


• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
