Job summary

Sentara Halifax Regional Medical Center in South Boston, VA is seeking a Food Services Worker for flexible, as-needed scheduling. You will prepare and assemble meals per dietary guidelines, maintain clean kitchen and dining spaces, handle dishwashing, cashier duties, and ensure food safety and quality across shifts.

The role supports a busy hospital cafeteria and patient dining operations. A HS diploma or GED is preferred, with a Food Handlers Card and about one year of related kitchen/food

• One year related kitchen/food service experience preferred.

Overview

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $18.02 - $26.54 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
