Job Description

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and help complete daily reports. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

Job Responsibilities

1. Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
2. Prepare daily transaction reports.
3. Understand meal inclusions.
4. Store food accurately and hygienically.
5. Serve food according to schedules and policies.
6. Care for kitchen equipment, especially knives.
7. Prepare various food items, beverages, and garnishments.
8. Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
9. Follow food safety and sanitation regulations.
10. Adhere to uniform policies.
11. Coordinate with the manager to understand daily menus.
12. Supervise food temperature requirements.
13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
14. Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing.
15. Manage garbage and kitchen floor cleanliness.
16. Perform additional duties as assigned, including other kitchen areas.
17. This role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
