Hourly Rate: $18.15

Schedule: 35 hours weekly, Monday to Sunday

Position Summary

The Food Service Worker may work anywhere food is prepared on the property. Responsibilities include setup, serving, cleaning, and sanitizing. Duties may vary based on business needs and client requirements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Operate kitchen utensils for weighing, measuring, mixing, washing, peeling, cutting, grinding, stirring, straining, seasoning, and kneading foodstuffs.
  2. Assist in preparing hot and cold foods and properly store food, adhering to temperature and spoilage guidelines.
  3. Inspect workstations for compliance with service standards.
  4. Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following all safety and regulatory procedures.
  5. Set up stations with food items and utensils.
  6. Stock service areas as needed.
  7. Serve and replenish food from counters and steam tables; break down stations after meal periods.
  8. Prepare beverages like coffee and tea; restock beverage areas if required.
  9. Assist on tray lines and interact with customers in serving and dining areas.
  10. Help customers with opening containers and cutting food upon request.
  11. Wash dishes manually or using dishwashing machines.
  12. Clean work areas, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
  13. Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and removing trash.
  14. Transfer supplies and equipment within storage and work areas.
  15. Attend all relevant training on allergy and foodborne illness prevention.
  16. Follow all safety, risk management, and HACCP policies and procedures.
  17. Participate in safety meetings and hazard assessments.
  18. Maintain security clearances and adhere to security and property control policies.
  19. Comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  20. Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
