**Job Description**

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation; maintain cash receipts and meal records. Assist the manager in completing daily reports. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

**COMPENSATION:** The hourly rate for this position is $16.00. This is Aramark's good faith estimate of the compensation for this position as of the posting date.

**Job Responsibilities**

1. Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
2. Prepare daily transaction reports.
3. Understand meal components.
4. Ensure proper storage of food in a sanitary manner.
5. Serve food according to schedules and policies.
6. Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
7. Timely preparation of food and beverages.
8. Add garnishments for presentation and customer satisfaction.
9. Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
10. Follow food safety and sanitation regulations.
11. Adhere to uniform policy.
12. Coordinate with the manager to understand daily menus.
13. Supervise food temperature requirements.
14. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
15. Perform cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing.
16. Manage garbage and kitchen floor cleanliness.
17. Perform additional duties as assigned.
18. This role may involve physical activities like lifting, bending, and standing, and may require uniforms and PPE.
