Job summary

The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities in Georgia is seeking a Food Service Worker for West Central Georgia Regional Hospital. This role handles the preparation, cooking, serving and distribution of meals to patients and staff, operates food service equipment, and maintains sanitation in line with regulations.

The position may involve lead worker duties. A high school diploma or GED is required along with relevant experience; a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience in the area of assignment; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Food Svc Worker 2 or equivalent.
• An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certification may be substituted year-over-year.
