Job Description

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation; maintain cash receipts and meal records. Assist in completing daily reports. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
  • Prepare daily reports verifying transactions.
  • Understand meal inclusions.
  • Ensure food storage is accurate and sanitary.
  • Serve food according to schedules and policies.
  • Use and care for kitchen equipment, especially knives.
  • Prepare a variety of food items and beverages timely.
  • Add garnishments for customer satisfaction and visual appeal.
  • Coordinate cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations for sanitation, handling, and storage.
  • Follow the uniform policy.
  • Connect daily with the Manager to understand and prepare the menu.
  • Supervise food temperature requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work and storage area.
  • Clean counters, sanitize steam tables, and other equipment.
  • Follow procedures for cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing.
  • Maintain garbage and kitchen floor areas in a sanitary manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including other kitchen areas.
  • This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
