Job Title: Part-Time Food Service Worker / Cashier

We are hiring immediately for part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER / CASHIER positions.

Location:

Rochester Community Schools - 52585 Dequindre Road Rochester MI 48307

Schedule:

Part-time; Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirements:

Prior food service and cashier experience preferred but not required.

Pay Rate:

$15.00 per hour.

Job Summary:

Performs cashier duties including general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in food preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepare fruits and vegetables, including washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding.
2. Transport food and supplies safely between stations.
3. Store foods properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
4. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
5. Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
6. Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
7. Serve customers politely and efficiently.
8. Handle customer interactions and resolve complaints professionally.
9. Relay relevant information to supervisors.
10. Accurately enter sales into the cash register.
11. Handle payments, issue receipts, and manage cash drawer responsibly.
12. Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness of service areas.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
