+ We are hiring immediately for a part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER position.

+ Location: Old Lyme Public Schools - 4 Davis Road West, Old Lyme, CT 06371. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Part-time; days may vary. 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. More details upon interview.

+ Requirement: No prior experience required.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties and general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in food prep, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepares fruits and vegetables, measures ingredients.
2. Transfers food, supplies, and equipment according to safety standards.
3. Stores foods properly, follows safety and rotation procedures.
4. Maintains cleanliness of work areas and utensils.
5. Ensures sanitation and safety compliance.
6. Uses approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
7. Serves customers courteously and efficiently.
8. Addresses customer concerns professionally.
9. Relays information to supervisors.
10. Handles sales transactions accurately, issues receipts, and manages cash drawer.
11. Replenishes supplies, maintains cleanliness.
12. Performs additional duties as assigned.
