We are hiring immediately for part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions.

Location: Montville Township School District - 100 Horseneck Road, Montville, NJ 07045. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 12:45 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous food service and cash handling experience is preferred, but not required.

Perks: No weekends, paid holidays, 401k, and training provided!

Pay Range: $15.49 to $15.92 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in food prep, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares fruits and vegetables by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding; measures ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays to and from work stations, adhering to safety standards. Distributes supplies and utensils.
• Stores foods properly, following safety, wrapping, and dating procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensures sanitation and safety compliance.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serves customers efficiently and courteously, following service steps.
• Interacts with customers, resolving complaints in a friendly manner.
• Relays information to supervisors.
• Performs sales transactions, enters sales into the register, makes change, and handles various payment methods.
• Issues receipts, processes refunds, and manages cash drawer in accordance with standards.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages, and supplies while maintaining cleanliness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
