We are hiring immediately for a part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER position at Lake Local Schools, located at 28080 Lemoyne Road, Millbury, OH 43447. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time, with days varying from 10:45 am to 2:00 pm. More details will be provided upon interview.

Requirement: Previous food service experience is required.

Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties and general food service work, maintaining sanitation standards in food preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables; measure ingredients.
2. Transport food, supplies, and equipment safely between stations.
3. Store foods properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
4. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
5. Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
6. Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
7. Serve customers efficiently and courteously, resolving complaints professionally.
8. Relay relevant information to supervisors.
9. Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and issuing receipts.
10. Manage cash drawer to meet overage/shortage standards.
11. Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies while maintaining cleanliness.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned.
