We are hiring immediately for a full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER position.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties and general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in food preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables. Measures ingredients as needed.
2. Carries pans, kettles, and trays safely between work stations, stove, and refrigerator. Distributes supplies and utensils.
3. Stores foods properly, following safety, wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
4. Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
5. Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
6. Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, temperature, and portion control.
7. Serves customers courteously and efficiently, following proper steps of service.
8. Interacts positively with customers and resolves complaints professionally.
9. Relays relevant information to supervisors.
10. Processes sales transactions accurately, including making change and accepting various forms of payment.
11. Issues receipts and handles cash refunds according to procedures.
12. Manages assigned cash drawers and change funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
13. Replenishes condiments, beverages, and supplies while maintaining cleanliness.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.
