+ Location: Snohomish SD - 14308 Broadway Avenue Southeast, Snohomish, WA 98290. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties and general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in food prep, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables; weighs and measures ingredients.
2. Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from stations following safety standards; distributes supplies, utensils, and equipment.
3. Stores foods properly, following safety, wrapping, and rotation procedures.
4. Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils; ensures sanitation and safety compliance.
5. Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, proper temperatures, and portion control.
6. Serves customers courteously and efficiently, following steps of service.
7. Interacts with customers, resolving complaints professionally.
8. Relays relevant information to supervisors.
9. Performs sales transactions, accurately recording purchases and handling payments.
10. Issues receipts, makes change, and processes refunds following standard procedures.
11. Manages cash drawer, ensuring compliance with overage/shortage standards.
12. Replenishes condiments, beverages, and supplies; maintains cleanliness of service areas.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
