We are hiring immediately for a full-time and part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.

Location: Missouri Delta Medical Center - 1008 North Main Street, Sikeston, MO 63801. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Days may vary, including some weekends, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and/or 5:45 am to 2:00 pm; more details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous cashier experience and customer service experience are preferred, but not required.

Pay Range: $13.75 per hour to $14.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashiering duties and general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in food preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepares food items such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables; measures ingredients.
2. Transfers food and supplies between stations, ensuring safety standards.
3. Stores foods properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
4. Maintains cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
5. Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
6. Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and proper serving temperatures.
7. Serves customers courteously and efficiently, resolving complaints professionally.
8. Relays relevant information to supervisors.
9. Handles sales transactions, ensuring accurate recording and handling of cash and other payment methods.
10. Issues receipts and processes refunds following standard procedures.
11. Manages cash drawer and change funds responsibly.
12. Replenishes supplies and maintains cleanliness of service areas.
13. Performs additional duties as assigned.
