Location: Stephen F Austin State University

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions.

Pay Range: $11.50 - $12.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas. Essential duties include:

  1. Performing prep work such as washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables; measuring ingredients.
  2. Transporting food and supplies safely between stations.
  3. Storing foods properly following safety procedures.
  4. Cleaning work areas and equipment.
  5. Ensuring sanitation and safety compliance.
  6. Using recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
  7. Serving customers courteously and efficiently.
  8. Handling customer interactions and complaints professionally.
  9. Relaying information to supervisors.
  10. Processing sales transactions accurately.
  11. Managing cash drawer and receipts responsibly.
  12. Replenishing supplies and maintaining cleanliness.
  13. Performing additional duties as assigned.
