Position: Full-time and part-time Food Service Worker/Cashier

Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in food prep, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform prep work: washing, peeling, cutting, seeding fruits and vegetables; measuring ingredients.
• Transport food and supplies safely between stations.
• Store foods properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensure sanitation and safety compliance.
• Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
• Serve customers courteously and efficiently.
• Handle customer interactions and resolve complaints kindly.
• Relay relevant information to supervisors.
• Perform sales transactions accurately, including making change and accepting various payment methods.
• Issue receipts and handle refunds properly.
• Manage cash drawer, ensuring accuracy.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies, maintaining cleanliness.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
