+ We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions.

+ Location: Auburn Enlarged City SD - 79 Thorton Avenue, Auburn, NY 13021. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Full and part-time schedules. Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. More details upon interview.

+ Requirement: Customer service experience required.

+ Pay Range: $15.50 to $15.65 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties and general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in food preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepares fruits and vegetables; weighs and measures ingredients.
2. Carrys pans, kettles, and trays, distributing supplies and utensils safely.
3. Stores foods properly, adhering to safety and rotation procedures.
4. Maintains cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
5. Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
6. Uses approved recipes and standards for quality, temperature, and portion control.
7. Serves customers courteously, following proper service steps.
8. Interacts with customers, resolving complaints professionally.
9. Relays relevant information to supervisors.
10. Performs sales transactions accurately, including handling cash and other payments.
11. Issues receipts and handles refunds following standard procedures.
12. Manages cash drawer and change funds according to standards.
13. Replenishes condiments, beverages, and supplies; maintains cleanliness.
14. Performs additional duties as assigned.
