FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Position Overview

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions at Florida Atlantic University, located at 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton, FL 33431. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule offers full-time and part-time options with open availability. Pay ranges from $13.00 to $14.00 per hour, with additional benefits for full-time roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables, and measure ingredients.
• Transport food, supplies, and equipment safely between stations.
• Store foods properly, ensuring safety and freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Follow sanitation and safety standards.
• Use recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
• Serve customers efficiently and courteously, handling complaints professionally.
• Process sales transactions accurately, including issuing receipts and handling cash and card payments.
• Manage cash drawer, ensuring compliance with overage/shortage policies.
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness of service areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
